01. Is a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) mandatory for all properties?
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the 'Responsible Person' must carry out a fire risk assessment for all non-domestic premises and the common parts of multi-occupied residential buildings.
02. How often should fire doors be inspected?
For multi-occupied residential buildings above 11m, front entrance fire doors should be checked every 12 months, and communal fire doors every 3 months.
